With around 7 million inhabitants, Casablanca is the beating economic heart of the land. Casablanca is a real metropolis with influences from all over the world. The French had and still have a great impact on the city, impacting both culture and tradition. You will also find Spanish, Italian and Chinese people groups.
The climate here is nice with warm summers and mild winters. Located on the coast, you will profit from the long beaches and the beautiful boulevards. You can swim, surf and enjoy the sun from April through to October.
On the shore of the Atlantic you will also find the Hassan II mosque; the second biggest mosque in the world, which is well worth a visit. The huge square in front of it and the enormous decorations will provide an unforgettable memory.
The big traditional markets as well as the modern shopping molls will provide you with everything you need; from traditional clothing to the latest fashion; from local bath houses to the swinging night life; Casablanca has it all!
